Este recorrido te conecta directamente con la naturaleza, permitiéndote explorar el ecosistema fluvial, aprender técnicas tradicionales de pesca artesanal y, por supuesto, enfrentarte al reto de atrapar a las temidas y fascinantes pirañas amazónicas. ITINERARIO

🗓️ Itinerario detallado – Medio Día (Duración: 4 a 5 horas)

1.Recojo desde el hotel en Puerto Maldonado
Te recogemos en tu hospedaje y nos dirigimos al puerto para abordar una lancha motorizada que nos llevará río abajo por el río Tambopata, dentro de una zona de gran biodiversidad.

2.Navegación por el río Tambopata y observación de fauna silvestre
Durante el trayecto podrás observar aves tropicales como guacamayos, garzas, martines pescadores, así como posibles avistamientos de capibaras, monos o caimanes en las orillas.

3. Llegada al punto de pesca vivencial
En un área segura y rica en especies piscícolas, el guía te enseñará las técnicas de pesca artesanal utilizadas por las comunidades amazónicas. Usaremos cañas rústicas, carnada natural y mucha paciencia.

4. Pesca de pirañas y otras especies nativas
Comienza el desafío: atrapar una piraña. Este momento es acompañado por relatos del guía sobre las costumbres de estas especies, su comportamiento y su importancia en el ecosistema. También es posible pescar bagres, mojarras o pacos.

5.Degustación ligera y tiempo para fotos
Se ofrecerán refrigerios ligeros mientras disfrutas del entorno selvático. Si atrapas una piraña, tendrás la oportunidad de observarla de cerca (y de forma segura).

6.Retorno en bote a Puerto Maldonado
Relájate durante el viaje de regreso mientras aprovechas para tomar las últimas fotos del río y su entorno.

7.Llegada a la ciudad y fin del tour.

Considering we were in remote mountain areas, the meals exceeded all expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There were generous portions, local flavors, and even vegetarian options — a huge plus for some of us in the group. Our camp chef deserves a medal! Reaching Machu Picchu on the final day felt incredibly rewarding. After five days of hiking through such diverse and awe-inspiring terrain, standing before one of the world's wonders felt even more magical. The Salkantay Trek with Marvelous couldn't have been better thanks to our incredible guide, Daniel. Honestly, I've never had such a great guide. Daniel is so warm, cheerful, and energetic. He wasn't just a guide, but part of our trekking family—many guides could learn something from him! Aside from that, our group was very personable, young, and motivated. The private cooks traveling with us prepared amazing food, and there was always enough of it. I've never eaten so well on a trek. Only in the last few days, when the cooks left and provided us with food at the restaurant, did the quality of the food really suffer compared to before. The accommodations were good, the sleeping bags provided were sufficient, and Daniel, our guide, tailored the route to our group's needs so everyone was satisfied.
