ITINERARIO

🗓 Itinerario Trekking Huchuy Qosqo | 3D/2N | Machu Picchu

Día 1: Cusco – Tambomachay – Pumamarca – Qoricocha – Comunidad de Patabamba

Altitud mínima: 3,700 m / Altitud máxima: 4,200 m
Distancia aproximada: 13 km / 7 horas de caminata

Por la mañana, saldremos desde Cusco rumbo a Tambomachay (3,700 m), punto de inicio del trekking. Iniciaremos la caminata en dirección al abra de Sicllaccasa (4,020 m), cruzando paisajes andinos de gran belleza y comunidades locales. Luego continuaremos hasta el mirador del lago Qoricocha. Tras un descanso, descendemos hacia Patabamba, una comunidad tradicional donde pasaremos la noche en casas locales con alojamiento básico.

Día 2: Patabamba – Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Después del desayuno, partiremos rumbo a Huchuy Qosqo, antiguo centro administrativo incaico ubicado sobre el Valle Sagrado. El sendero bordea valles estrechos y antiguos canales de irrigación, ofreciendo vistas impresionantes del paisaje andino. Llegaremos a las ruinas de Huchuy Qosqo, donde haremos una visita guiada. Luego descendemos a Lamay, donde tomaremos transporte hacia Ollantaytambo, y por la tarde abordaremos el tren hacia Aguas Calientes.

Día 3: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Altitud mínima: 2,040 m / Altitud máxima: 2,430 m

Este día está dedicado a explorar la imponente ciudadela de Machu Picchu. Tomaremos el bus turístico hacia la entrada y disfrutaremos de una visita guiada de aproximadamente 2 horas. Luego, tendrás tiempo libre para recorrer por cuenta propia o subir a alguna montaña adicional (Wayna Picchu o Machu Picchu montaña – previa reserva). Por la tarde, tomaremos el tren de regreso a Ollantaytambo y traslado a Cusco en bus.

The Salkantay Trek with Marvelous couldn't have been better thanks to our incredible guide, Daniel. Honestly, I've never had such a great guide. Daniel is so warm, cheerful, and energetic. He wasn't just a guide, but part of our trekking family—many guides could learn something from him! Aside from that, our group was very personable, young, and motivated. The private cooks traveling with us prepared amazing food, and there was always enough of it. I've never eaten so well on a trek. Only in the last few days, when the cooks left and provided us with food at the restaurant, did the quality of the food really suffer compared to before. The accommodations were good, the sleeping bags provided were sufficient, and Daniel, our guide, tailored the route to our group's needs so everyone was satisfied.
