ITINERARIO

Día 1: Iquitos – Nauta – Ingreso a Pacaya Samiria

DIA 1

Recepción en Iquitos o recojo desde tu hotel. Luego, traslado terrestre hacia Nauta, donde recibirás una breve introducción sobre la historia local y la importancia de la Amazonía.

A continuación, embarque e inicio de navegación por el río Marañón, uno de los principales afluentes del Amazonas. Durante el recorrido, podrás observar paisajes selváticos y, con suerte, delfines rosados y grises.

Posteriormente, ingreso a la Reserva Nacional Pacaya Samiria (control SERNANP). Almuerzo a bordo y llegada al campamento. Por la tarde, reconocimiento del área. Finalmente, cena y caminata nocturna para observar insectos, anfibios y otras especies.

Día 2: Yanayacu – Fauna y Flora Amazónica

DIA 2

Muy temprano, salida para observar el amanecer amazónico y aves exóticas en su hábitat natural. Luego, desayuno en el campamento.

Después, navegación por ríos internos para la búsqueda de fauna silvestre: monos, aves y reptiles. Asimismo, podrás disfrutar de un baño en el río en zonas seguras.

Más tarde, almuerzo y caminata botánica para conocer plantas medicinales y árboles nativos. Por la noche, cena y relatos amazónicos sobre mitos y leyendas locales.

Día 3: Selva Profunda – Aventura y Exploració

DIA 3

Desayuno y traslado hacia un campamento más remoto. Luego, navegación por el río Yanayacu en bote tradicional.

Durante el día, pesca artesanal de pirañas y observación de monos en su entorno natural. Posteriormente, tiempo para disfrutar del entorno selvático.

Finalmente, excursión nocturna en canoa para observar caimanes y fauna activa, seguida de cena y descanso en campamento.

Día 4: Retorno a Iquitos

DIA 3

Desayuno en el campamento. Luego, retorno hacia la comunidad y visita a una pequeña feria artesanal.

A continuación, navegación de regreso a Nauta y traslado terrestre hacia Iquitos. Fin de la experiencia.

Considering we were in remote mountain areas, the meals exceeded all expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There were generous portions, local flavors, and even vegetarian options — a huge plus for some of us in the group. Our camp chef deserves a medal! Reaching Machu Picchu on the final day felt incredibly rewarding. After five days of hiking through such diverse and awe-inspiring terrain, standing before one of the world's wonders felt even more magical. The Salkantay Trek with Marvelous couldn't have been better thanks to our incredible guide, Daniel. Honestly, I've never had such a great guide. Daniel is so warm, cheerful, and energetic. He wasn't just a guide, but part of our trekking family—many guides could learn something from him! Aside from that, our group was very personable, young, and motivated. The private cooks traveling with us prepared amazing food, and there was always enough of it. I've never eaten so well on a trek. Only in the last few days, when the cooks left and provided us with food at the restaurant, did the quality of the food really suffer compared to before. The accommodations were good, the sleeping bags provided were sufficient, and Daniel, our guide, tailored the route to our group's needs so everyone was satisfied.
