1. Departure from Huaraz
Meet with your guide at your hotel or meeting point. Depart by private vehicle to the town of Santa Cruz, located in the Independencia district (a 25-minute drive from Huaraz).

2. Start of the trek in Santa Cruz (3,250 m above sea level).
From here, the uphill hike begins along old rural roads. As you ascend, you can see cultivated terraces, Andean flora, and traditional Quechua communities.

3. Arrive at Laguna Willcacocha (3,750 m above sea level).
Once at the summit, you’ll enjoy an extraordinary panoramic view of the Cordillera Blanca, highlighting snow-capped peaks such as Huascarán, Huandoy, Copa, Vallunaraju, and Ranrapalca. Ideal for photographs, rest, and refreshments.

4. Free time to explore and have lunch
