ITINERARIO

🗓 Día 1: Arequipa – Reserva de Salinas y Aguada Blanca – Chivay – Aguas termales

Recojo del hotel en Arequipa
Inicio del tour con dirección al Valle del Colca. En el trayecto se atraviesa la Reserva Nacional de Salinas y Aguada Blanca, hogar de vicuñas y otros camélidos andinos.
Parada en Pampa Cañahuas
Vista panorámica de los paisajes altoandinos con opción de tomar mate de coca para la altura (4,000 m s.n.m.).
Llegada a Chivay (3,600 m s.n.m.) y almuerzo libre
Visita a las aguas termales de La Calera
Tiempo libre para relajarse en las piscinas naturales rodeadas de montañas.
Cena (opcional) y noche de pernocte en Chivay
Posibilidad de disfrutar de una peña folclórica con danzas típicas del Colca.

🗓 Día 2: Cruz del Cóndor – Cañón del Colca – Ruta a Puno

Desayuno en el hospedaje
Salida hacia la Cruz del Cóndor
Llegada a uno de los mejores miradores del Cañón del Colca para observar el vuelo del cóndor andino y la inmensidad del cañón.
Paradas en miradores naturales y pueblos tradicionales
Visitas panorámicas en Antahuilque, Maca y Yanque, donde se puede observar terrazas preincaicas y vestimenta típica de la zona.
Retorno a Chivay y almuerzo libre
Salida en transporte turístico hacia Puno
Viaje de aproximadamente 6 horas en bus turístico, pasando por paisajes andinos y la Reserva de Lagunillas.
Llegada a Puno y traslado al hotel

Considering we were in remote mountain areas, the meals exceeded all expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There were generous portions, local flavors, and even vegetarian options — a huge plus for some of us in the group. Our camp chef deserves a medal! Reaching Machu Picchu on the final day felt incredibly rewarding. After five days of hiking through such diverse and awe-inspiring terrain, standing before one of the world's wonders felt even more magical. The Salkantay Trek with Marvelous couldn't have been better thanks to our incredible guide, Daniel. Honestly, I've never had such a great guide. Daniel is so warm, cheerful, and energetic. He wasn't just a guide, but part of our trekking family—many guides could learn something from him! Aside from that, our group was very personable, young, and motivated. The private cooks traveling with us prepared amazing food, and there was always enough of it. I've never eaten so well on a trek. Only in the last few days, when the cooks left and provided us with food at the restaurant, did the quality of the food really suffer compared to before. The accommodations were good, the sleeping bags provided were sufficient, and Daniel, our guide, tailored the route to our group's needs so everyone was satisfied.
