🛬 Day 1: Welcome to the Jungle – Entrance to the Tambopata Reserve
- Meeting at the airport or bus terminal in Puerto Maldonado.
- Transfer to the port of embarkation on the Madre de Dios River.
- Motorized boat ride to the lodge (approx. 45 min).
- Welcome drink and accommodation at the lodge.
- Amazonian lunch in the lodge dining room.
- Introductory hike along trails in secondary and primary rainforest to familiarize yourself with the tropical flora.
- Dinner at the lodge.
- Night walk in search of insects, tarantulas, and jungle sounds.
Accommodation: Eco-lodge within the reserve.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
🛶 Day 2: Lake Sandoval and Wildlife Exploration
- Early breakfast.
- Guided hike (3 km) to Lake Sandoval, crossing floodplain and tall forests.
- Canoe trip on the lake: sightings of giant otters, black caimans, kingfishers, howler monkeys, and more.
- Free time for rest or a refreshing swim in safe areas of the lake.
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- In the afternoon, hike along a new trail with a botanical focus.
- Dinner at the lodge.
- Night boat trip to observe caimans, capybaras, and Amazonian sounds.

Day 3: Observation Tower and Deep Walk
- Breakfast.
- Hik to a 30-meter-high observation tower to watch birds such as toucans, macaws, orioles, and other species at sunrise.
- We will begin with a kayak ride on the Madre de Dios River, where we will explore nature and appreciate the local flora and fauna up close.
- During the trip, we will have the opportunity to observe butterflies, water turtles, and other animals in their natural environment.
- Lunch at the lodge.
- In the afternoon, hike deep into primary rainforest in search of giant trees, tapir tracks, capuchin monkeys, and flying squirrels.
- Farewell dinner at the lodge.
- Optional: Ecological talk on the conservation of Lake Sandoval and the Tambopata National Reserve.

Day 4: Return to Puerto Maldonado – Farewell
- Early breakfast.
- Return boat transfer on the Madre de Dios River.
