ITINERARY

Magical Cusco Itinerary 4D/3N

Day 1: Cusco City Tour

  • Pickup from the airport
  • Transfer to your selected hotel. The rest of the morning is free to acclimatize to the altitude and rest.

In the afternoon, we begin a fascinating tour of the city’s main historical sites:

  • Cusco Cathedral (World Heritage Site)
  • Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, an ancient Inca ceremonial center
  • Sacsayhuamán, with its colossal stone walls
  • Qenqo, a ceremonial center dedicated to Mother Earth
  • Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, sites linked to water and Inca defense
  • Return to the hotel at the end of the tour.
  • Free dinner and overnight in Cusco.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas

  • Pickup from your hotel
  • We begin the day heading to the Sacred Valley, one of the most beautiful routes in the southern Andes, with panoramic views, traditional villages, and key archaeological sites.

Tour stops:

  • Taray Lookout, for a panoramic view of the valley
  • Pisac archaeological complex, famous for its terraces and ceremonial sites
  • Pisac artisan market, ideal for purchasing local textiles, ceramics, and jewelry
  • Buffet lunch in Urubamba (included), with traditional and international dishes
  • Ollantaytambo Fortress, an impressive architectural complex that served as an Inca military, agricultural, and religious center
  • After the visit in Ollantaytambo, you board the train to Aguas Calientes.
  • Overnight at a hotel in the town, ideal for visiting Machu Picchu early the next day.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

  • Very early, we board the bus that goes up to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
  • In coordination with your guide, you will first board the Consettur bus, which will take you from the town of Aguas Calientes to the Llacta Gate of Machu Picchu.
  • Your guide will be waiting for you at the Llacta Gate of Machu Picchu. The tour lasts approximately two hours.
  • Upon your return, you will board the Consettur bus bound for the town of Aguas Calientes, where lunch will be included at the restaurant.
  • Remember to be at the train station 30 minutes early, which will take you from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo for a two-hour journey.
  • From there, you will board the Consettur bus, which will take you to Cusco for approximately two hours.
  • Upon arrival in Cusco, a vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel. (You must have mobile data activated on your mobile phone.)

Day 4: Final Transfer – Farewell to Cusco

  • Depending on your departure time, our team will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the airport or bus terminal.
  • End of our adventure.
