Next, we’ll head to the religious complex of the Society of Jesus, a jewel of the mestizo baroque. We’ll visit its church, its ornate altarpieces, and the striking Dome of San Ignacio, famous for its colorful frescoes.

We continue to the Cloisters of the Society, where you can admire typical Arequipa architecture built from sillar, the white volcanic stone that gives the city its name. This space houses artisan shops and charming cafes.
