Departure from Arequipa’s Historic Center
The tour begins with pickup from the meeting point in the Plaza de Armas or nearby areas. Aboard the double-decker panoramic bus, we’ll begin a pleasant tour with a local bilingual guide.
🕍 Plaza de Armas and Arequipa Cathedral (panoramic)
The tour begins with a view of the heart of the city. From the second level of the bus, you can appreciate the imposing Cathedral and the colonial architecture of white ashlar.
🎨 Carmen Alto Viewpoint
A must-see stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the Chilina Valley and the Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. We’ll also learn about terraced farming and the importance of the Chili River.
🌄 Yanahuara Lookout
Visit the traditional neighborhood of Yanahuara, famous for its lookout point with ashlar arches and famous quotes. Here you’ll have time to take photographs with the Misti volcano in the background and visit the colonial church of San Juan Bautista.
